Resources:

Actor/director Clint Eastwood has been picking up nominations and awards throughout the year for Million Dollar Baby, just as he did last year for Mystic River. But while the latter's sole nomination for a Cosmo was not enough to propel him into a Best Director nomination last year, Million Dollar Baby's three nominations, coupled with his wins elsewhere, gave him the strength to earn his first Best Director Cosmo nod.

In addition to producing, directing, and co-starring in Million Dollar Baby, Eastwood also wrote its haunting score.
