Hayden Christensen's career at the Cosmos has been a bit of a roller coaster. At the 2001 awards, he secured a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his performance in Life As a House, the only nomination that film received at the Cosmique Movie Awards. (He lost to Ian McKellen for The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.) But then in 2002, Cosmo voters and critics alike panned his performance in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, and he was nominated for Worst Performance in a 2002 Film (this time losing to Madonna for Swept Away).

In 2003, he redeemed himself with Shattered Glass. The biopic of journalist Stephen Glass earned him a Golden Satellite nomination, and the film was nominated for a Cosmo for Best Historical. Unfortunately, Hayden narrowly missed being nominated for Best Actor by a single vote.

In 2005, he was nominated for Best Villain for Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
