At the Fifth Annual Awards, Angelina Jolie earned three Cosmo nominations - two for Actress' Character You Would Most Like to be Intimate With. She is the first actress to receive a double nomination in this category. Interestingly enough, her Alexander co-star Colin Farrell is the first actor to receive a double nod in the corresponding male category as well. Five of her seven nominations were for Intimate Actress.

Cosmo voters were generally dismissive of her 2005 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but seemed taken with Angelina. She earned the unusual distinction of being the first person nominated simultaneously into both Heroic and Villainous categories. The dichotomy may have cost her both awards (she lost to Gina Torres for Serenity for the former and Tilda Swinton for Narnia for the latter), but she finally took home the Intimate Actress trophy, for which she has now been nominated for more than any other actress.
