A family of superheroes has their quiet suburban life interrupted when they are called upon to fight an self-proclaimed evil supergenius.

Additional Nominations

Pixar hits another animation home-run with "The Incredibles," a creative animated adventure that's as much a hit with adults as it is with kids. (When I went, a majority of the sold-out theater were adults without little ones in tow.)

Their continuing success is based first and foremost on the writing - innovative, engaging, and clever. The voice-over acting is great, with a first-rate cast. The animation won't blow your socks off but is definitely among the top tier of animation films.

I predict here and now that when the Cosmo nominations are released, "The Incredibles" will feature very prominently.

My Rating: 8
